Your settlement pool
You're resolving your Credit One Bank account ending in XXXX-1234. Cirqul holds nothing — payment methods stay parked until your pool reaches its goal.
Nobody has been charged. Nobody will be unless we reach the goal.
When someone pledges, their card is saved securely — but no money moves until your pool hits its goal by the deadline. If it doesn't, every saved card is released and no charges run.
When do my supporters actually get charged?
It depends on how each person chooses to give. If they pledge risk-free, their card is saved and only charged if the pool hits its goal — otherwise it's released and nothing happens. If they choose to pay right away, their card is charged immediately and the money goes to your account either way, whether the pool hits goal or not.
Why is the goal 10% more than the settlement?
Some saved cards fail when we run them — expired, low balance, fraud rules. The 10% buffer makes sure your settlement still clears. If we end up not needing the buffer, supporters get a pro-rata refund of the extra.
Will my supporters see what I owe?
No. They see your goal, your story, and the deadline. They don't see your balance, the creditor, or your account number unless you choose to share them.
What if I want to cancel the pool?
You can close the pool any time before charges run. All saved cards get released and your supporters are notified that nothing was collected.
Cirqul never holds your supporters' money. Payment methods are tokenized through our processor and only charged when a pool reaches its goal. Settlement terms with Credit One Bank were approved on May 12, 2026. Pools must reach their goal by the deadline for the settlement to process.
